Project Description

Llama and Pygmy Goat fencing

We were recently asked to provide some fencing to help contain and keep safe Llamas and Pygmy goats. The fence design used has high tensile stock netting, but not the standard stock netting, here we used “lamb safe” stock netting, which has wider holes so that the little pygmy goats can get their heads out of the netting and not get their horns stuck!

The Llamas required smooth wire, and not barbed wire. The rail was for aesthetic reasons on one side only. When fencing Llamas, a standard 4ft high fence design is adequate.
